Building Our Community

Each year the North Idaho Pride Alliance and Pride Youth Alliance organize several events with our Alliance members promoting unity in our community.  These events bring the LGBTQ+ and ALLY community together creating a safer and stronger community for all of us.
North Idaho Pride Alliance organizes monthly socials at the Human Rights Education Institute in Coeur d'Alene. These events are free, open and inclusive to all. Having fun, fostering connection and conversation is what they are all about. People that are new to North Idaho Pride Alliance are encouraged to attend to get acquainted with the organization.

Each May, during high school prom season, the Pride Youth Alliance organizes the QPROM.  QProm is a brand new take on prom.  Q-Prom is a dance party that is open to all ages and all genders and sexualities, creating a safe space that is alcohol, drug and weapon free.   QProm is an event that focuses on breaking down the barriers of gender and sexuality and bringing together people for a second (or first) chance at a special night of dancing and fun.

June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month and it's time for Pride in the Park.  Coeur d'Alene's celebration of LGBTQ+ diversity.  Pride activities are planned throughout the month.

September's Unity in the Community Dinner brings people together to enjoy a meal together and to create unity through our diversity.  The Unity in the Community Dinner encourages people to get to know each other and embrace being a part of a positive and strong community.
